Legal basis of the processing

Technical and first-party analytical cookies have their legal basis in legitimate interest.

Transfer of personal data to countries outside the European Union:

The data collected using cookies may be transferred to countries outside the European Union whose level of data protection has been deemed adequate by the European Commission pursuant to art. 45 of the GDPR.

In addition, personal data may be transferred abroad to non-European countries, and in particular to the United States (by way of example but not limited to, Google), subject to the signing of the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted/approved by the European Commission pursuant to art. 46, 2, letters c) and d).

Rights of the data subject – Complaint to the supervisory authority

This is without prejudice to the possibility for the data subject, who prefers to be contacted for the aforementioned purpose exclusively through traditional methods, to express his opposition only to the receipt of communications through automated methods.

Data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in the Member State in which they habitually reside or work or in the State where the alleged infringement occurred.

In case of questions or doubts in relation to the processing of Personal Data or to exercise any other right mentioned above, the Data Subject may send a written communication by registered letter with return receipt to Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome, with registered office in Rome, Via Álvaro del Portillo n. 21 to the attention of the DPO – Data Protection Officer or by email to the address areaprivacy@unicampus.it.
