- GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1 These general terms and conditions of sale apply exclusively between the Owner and the Consumer who purchases online the products offered on the website https://ucbmacademy.unicampus.it/en/corso/osas-2025-en/rome-osa-course/.
1.3 By using the website https://ucbmacademy.unicampus.it/en/corso/osas-2025-en/rome-osa-course/ (“Website”) and/or placing an order, the Consumer accepts these general terms and conditions of sale. Therefore, we invite you to carefully review these terms and conditions before proceeding with an order.
1.4 These terms and conditions may be subject to changes, and the date of publication on the Website corresponds to the date of entry into force.
- SUBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
2.1 Through these general terms and conditions of sale, the Owner sells and the Consumer purchases a Course focused on Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome, aimed at creating a direct relationship between the exceptional international faculty and the participants, exploring the most advanced innovations and new technologies in the treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea and snoring.
This course is designed for ENT specialists but is also of great interest to dentists, maxillofacial and plastic surgeons, pulmonologists, and neurologists.
Each course is described in detail on the Rome OSA Course – Academy UCBM website, where the registration fee, target audience categories (specialists, residents, fellows), costs, registration methods, discounts, and other relevant details are specified.
2.2 Access to the site also allows the Consumer to choose between the following registration options:
- Standard fee;
- Early bird: reduced registration fee for enrollments made by February 28, 2025.
- INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION
3.1 The Consumer acknowledges that the texts, data, software, photographs, graphics, videos, music, sounds, images, illustrations, designs, icons, and any other material on the Website are protected by copyright or other intellectual property laws and are the exclusive property of the Owner and/or third parties.
Duplication, reproduction (even partial), downloading, storage, communication to third parties, publication, or dissemination in any manner, and generally any act of disposal or use of the material contained on the Website, in any form, through existing or future media and technologies, are prohibited unless expressly indicated otherwise on the Website or authorized in writing by the Owner and/or the respective rights holders.
- REGISTERED TRADEMARKS
4.1 The trademark of Università Campus Bio-Medico, as well as the logo used on the site, are registered and are the exclusive property of “UCBM.” Any third-party trademarks and logos present on the Website are the exclusive property of their respective owners. The use or reproduction of these trademarks and logos in any form and manner is prohibited. - ACCESS TO THE WEBSITE
To access the purchase of the “Rome OSA Course,” the Consumer selects the chosen “Rome OSA Course” and proceeds directly with the purchase. - CONCLUSION AND EFFECTIVENESS OF THE CONTRACT
6.1 The sales contract is considered concluded upon the Owner’s sending of an order confirmation email. This communication will be sent to the Consumer upon receipt of payment, to the email address provided at the time of registration or direct purchase of the “Rome OSA Course.”
Similarly, if the order cannot be processed, the Owner will send a rejection email.
6.2 The confirmation email contains the following information: (i) Consumer’s details; (ii) Order number; (iii) Purchased course details; (iv) Billing details; (v) Link to print and store these general terms and conditions of sale.
6.3 If the order cannot be processed, the Owner will send a rejection email.
6.4 The Consumer must verify the accuracy of the personal data contained therein and promptly notify the Owner of any corrections at the dedicated email address ucbmacademy@unicampus.it.
- PAYMENT METHODS
7.1 The Consumer may purchase the “Rome OSA Course” through the Website using the following payment method:

7.2 The Owner reserves the right to introduce additional payment methods.
7.3 The Owner only accepts payments in euros.
- PRICES AND AVAILABLE DISCOUNTS
8.1 The prices listed on the Website are in euros and do not include VAT.
8.2 If the VAT rate changes after order acceptance, the product price will be automatically adjusted without any obligation to notify the Consumer.
8.3 The Owner grants the following discounts to those who register:
- 20% discount for registrations by February 28;
- Additional 20% discount for members of specific scientific societies listed on the platform.
These discounts can be combined.
- CONSUMER RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
9.1 The Owner grants the Consumer the right to withdraw from the online sales contract for the “Rome OSA Course” within 14 (fourteen) days from the contract conclusion date, which corresponds to the email confirmation of payment.
9.2 The Consumer who wishes to exercise their right of withdrawal must notify the Owner explicitly via registered letter to Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, via Alvaro del Portillo n.21, 00128 (RM), or by completing the provided withdrawal form.
9.4 The Consumer will receive a refund within 14 days using the original payment method.
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
10.1 The Owner is not responsible for issues beyond its control, such as hardware/software failures, internet connection issues, or fraud in payment transactions. - CONFIDENTIALITY
11.1 All information related to the “Rome OSA Course” accessed through the Website or purchase is considered confidential. - STORAGE METHODS
Pursuant to Article 12 of Legislative Decree No. 70/2003, all submitted orders are stored digitally at the Owner’s headquarters. - COMMUNICATIONS
Any communication with the Owner must be made in writing via email to: ucbmacademy@unicampus.it. - DISPUTE RESOLUTION
14.1 These general terms and conditions of sale are exclusively subject to Italian law.
14.2 Any dispute related to the interpretation, execution, or termination of the Contract may be resolved through Alternative Dispute Resolution or directly submitted: (i) For Consumers residing in Italy, to the Consumer’s place of residence or domicile; (ii) For Consumers not residing in Italy, to the Court of Rome.
