Multisciplinary Program
The Bootcamp 2026 program will focus on Decision Intelligence (DI) to support complex, high impacts decision making, combining data science, social science, and managerial science to improve how decisions are made. Incorporating “Human-in-the-Loop” (HITL) AI is critical in DI to ensure accuracy, safety, ethical compliance, and contextual understanding, particularly where automated systems might fail or require oversight. Designed in collaboration with academics and professionals, this is a short and effective 3 week course based on experiential learning and practical activities
A full-immersion experience learning by doing together
The Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma is proud to bring back to Cambridge (UK) our residential full-immersion Bootcamp: an intensive 3-week training course in IoT and AI designed in collaboration with industry partners.
What is the Bootcamp?
The IoT & AI Bootcamp is an established international multidisciplinary learning experience with a 3-week full immersion intensive programme of lectures, labs, and project work to acquire technical skills and transferable skills. It is designed in collaboration between academics and professionals to deliver a highly experiential course entirely built with a project-based-learning : skills are taught in order to solve real use cases provided by industry partners guided by an interdisciplinary faculty and multi-industry advisory board.
Industry use cases
We believe in project-based learning. The programme is entirely built on use cases provided by our industry partners. Participants work in teams to find innovative solutions to real problems.
Who can participate?
Designed for undergraduate and graduate students (over 18 years old), post-graduate students, researchers, early-stage practitioners in engineering or computer science and young professionals that want to have an international experience and want to acquire IoT and AI skills in a professional environment.
Entry requirements
The Bootcamp is designed for students, researchers and professionals who want to have a multi-disciplinary experience and want to acquire IoT and AI skills in close contact with industry partners.
To enroll in the Bootcamp, we strongly recommend that participants have:
• B2 level or higher of English;
• basic computing skills and familiarity with at least one programming language;
Tuition Fee
The tuition fees are detailed in the table below.
UCBM rate applies to students currently enrolled at UCBM, while the Regular rate applies to other applicants.
In both cases, the All-Inclusive formula includes:
accommodation in a single room with private bathroom; access to shared kitchen facilities; all courses, labs and tutoring sessions; all required hardware and technical equipment; participation in the hackathon; group project work guided by academic and industry tutors; soft skills training sessions; a certificate of attendance upon completion of the course; networking opportunities with industry partners; and a gala dinner.

Application process
Application for admission to Bootcamp 2026 must be submitted no later than 11.59pm on 6th July 2026 by filling out the following form. For information, please refer to the Registration Guidelines (download section) for the application procedure.
Please note that we have a limited number of places and we therefore strongly encourage early registration. Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis in the order they are received. Once all places are taken, registration will be closed.

Program
Designed in collaboration with academics and professionals, this is a short and effective 3 week course based on experiential learning and practical activities:
· week 1: Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals;
· week 2: IoT Fundamentals and Enabling Technologies;
· week 3: Hackathon
The 120 hour program includes:
Tech Lectures (IoT & AI), Tech Labs with tutors, Team Project Work, Transferable Skills Training, Business Lectures, AI and Ethics. Integrated in the programme to complementthe technical teachings:
